I’ve just got a new iPhone 4g, and I’d like some suggestions of apps to download.. I’m looking for useful apps, as well as funny apps, I have a 62 year old father, who doesn’t understand technology and I’d like to "wow" him with some apps haha.

Depends on what you want to do with it. To wow him buy a game that uses the accelerometer.
My favourite apps are any current events app. I like to read up on whats happening in the world.
