I’m not a Mac user and I noticed that there is a SDK available for download, but I don’t see mention of what languages you need to know to develop iphone apps.
Objective C. It’s a dynamic OOP language based on C, with similarities to both C++ and Java.
im just wondering cos i recntly got an iphone and im gettig some apps but how do i know what apps use internet while im on them

They should tell you under the description of the app but you should also be able to use common sense to figure it out. If its a game you play with other people or if its pulling real time data (such as a radio) it will require the internet.

My favorite app is the Spoof one. I like how you can make any number appear on caller ID and change your voice. Some free apps: Air hockey, Toogle Wifi,Myspace mobile, facebook mobile, Jog tracker, Motorcycle game, SMS counter,GPS, Tetris, radio.

Try Shazam. It records 15 seconds of a song and tells you the Artist name, Title of the song, Genre and Album name. Say you’re listening to a song and want to know the name. You simply tap Tag Now. when it’s done the phone vibrates and shows album art if available and gives you the option to buy on iTunes as well.
Also try WritingPad. You can write notes and email them, but it’s the way you enter the text that’s fun. You put your finger on the screen and trace to each letter and lift off. great technology. Keep practicing, you’ll get better at it.

Uhh… Just browse the appstore once you get your phone. You’ll find tons of awesome ones, and it’s hard to tell someone apps they’d like if you don’t know them.
So here’s the deal. I recently got an iPhone 3gs but some of my apps like papertoss and remove’em don’t work in school. This is surprising because my brother who also has a 3gs can access all his apps fine. What can I do to access all of my apps in school?
If you are on the school wireless network automatically, some apps that go out to seek info or retrieve it might be blocked according to your lack of privileges. If your Bro is senior he may have less restrictions. Otherwise no idea.

I don’t think it would be free maybe next year it will be $1.99 but really for $2.99 that app is actually pretty cool so just buy it they won’t be lowering the price any time soon.
I have a touch screen phone, and it’s Symbian.
Whether it’s converting the iphone applications or installing a patch that can run iphone applications, i don’t care, i just want some apps on my phone.

Unfortunately iphone apps are not compatible with anything but iPhone’s and iPod Touch’s. There is no way to convert them or make them work on anything else.
My iphone apps are spread out over 7 pages, and the pages are all 1/2 full of apps only! How do I make them fill up the whole of each page?
There is two ways of doing this.
1. is on the iPhone itself. You will press and hold one of the applications for a couple of second till they all start shake (and the little crosses at the corners appear) – then you can drag the applications around as you want to (dragging them to the sides of the iPhone-screen to change page).
2. is through iTunes. iTunes has (since one of the later updates) had an ability from where you can control this. You can drag them around (having an image of the different pages on the iPhone and so on). So if you haven’t updated your iTunes for a while, try do that

Short answer…All of them! They are FREE!
I just ran into this site a week ago and it is awesome if you want to find all the best and Free iPhone apps with the least amount of searching. They must have a feed coming in and it has an updated list of the Top 50 iphone apps for each category, both paid and free! It saves me a lot of time, because I know the odds of junk apps goes way, way down… It’s super easy to use and the whole site is really well done, not just the part where the feed is.
