Coming To An iPhone

I found one of these sites where you put in an email address and sign up for lovefilm and they supposedly send you a Free iPhone. Now I had absolutely no faith in this til someone told me that someone at college got a free iPod nano when they were new.

I just wondered if anyone’s done it or known someone who has, and if it does actually work?

Yes you can it depends what site.

You have to sign upto lovefilm but no only that you will have to refer some friends to do the same.

Just found out the only way to sync my new laptop with my iPhone and not lose all the stuff on the phone is to use an iPhone to computer transfer program, I googled it and all I was able to find were free trial versions that let you transfer like 5 files – there’s over a thousand on the phone! So where can I get some adware, spyware, and malware free software for this that doesn’t cost anything? I’m broke.

Frankly speaking, it is true that we can save some money by download a free software from the website and use it to do our work.
But, free software is always having computer virus or functional limitation in it, which is quite annoying. And it has occurred to you. and it’s really annoying.
For sincere advice, I recommend that you had better buy one at reasonable price and avoid a lot trouble.

so I have a new computer, and my iphone account/apps and songs are on the old one. I’ve got to get everything onto the new computer, so how do I do that without having to get every single app and song on the new computer manually?

great question.

Easy:

1. Go to www.apple.com/itunes and download and install the latest version of itunes.

VERY IMPORTANT… unless you have backed all your music up, you must get all the music from it to your pc.
Try sharepod. It is a free utility that should help you:

After you have gotten the music from your iphone to the PC you can use itunes to import them… Trust me, if you just sync the iphone to the new pc you will lose your music!

2. After installing, open itunes and make sure that you set up your itunes store account. This is the same account you used to buy all your apps.

3. Connect your iphone to the PC. itunes will recognize it and ask if you want to sync. It will then transfter the apps you have already purchased that are on the phone to the pc. Since you backed up all your music a few steps ago, it will not effect you because they are already in itunes. All your contacts etc will be synced as well

that should be it!
see, itunes will let you sync back purchased apps etc but not music. it assumes you are a music pirate if the music on the phone is not 100% itunes purchased music. .most people do not buy all music from itunes.
Thats why we needed to save your music first before we synced the phone with itunes.

This app is completely free. It isn’t possible for them to charge you in the application yet. The app uses your phone service to connect to the internet. However, in the summer, as the iPhone 3.0 Operating System is released, there will be "In-App Purchases," but the Yahoo! Messenger will be free, since it is free on the computer.
