Coming To An iPhone

okay, so i just got an iphone, and ive never had an itunes account before, and i let this dude at my school use his itunes account info to download apps, and now, its defaulted to his e-mail and stuff, and i am wondering how to change it to a different one.

you may have to go online and open your own account. it should let you sign out of his then sign into yours

I had the iPhone and it was stolen, so my dad gave me his N96 Nokia, and I put my iPhone contract sim in, can I use the internet for free?

I’m sorry to hear about your iPhone – I’ve had a phone stolen before too, and I know it absolutely sucks.

Like the contract is on your SIM card, I’m pretty sure the unlimited web bolt on is on your SIM card aswell, so yes. To make sure, ring your service provider (I’m assuming you’re on O2 – if so, dial 202) speak with someone and ask them "does this account/SIM card (they’ll be on your account information on the computer) have unlimited web access/web bolt on feature" and obviously if they reply yes then yes! I’m pretty sure you still have it, though.

I have checked the apple website and cant figure how to install the apps from their website on my iphone. They have some cool apps and it would be a great help if some body could help me out.

I just got a Blackberry Storm and I actually like it a lot. The texting on it is great and the phone is fast. However, one thing that really annoys me– the apps.

The BlackBerry App store has overpriced, crappy applications and games with the worst graphics ever. The phone is capable of having apps as good as the iPhone, so why aren’t there any good apps???

Well the iPhone OS has a lot more features and tools for developers of applications. There is also much more capability when writing apps for a device like the iPhone or iPod Touch.

I have a Free iPhone and want to activate it. I am worried they will deny me an AT&T phone plan when I am at the store b/c of my poor credit. I have this from mistakes in the past which have been corrected but they wont know this. Will they allow me a service plan or will I just get embarrassed in front of strangers?

More than likely they will require a security deposit for service. This could be required even if you have a phone already. That is because you are signing a contract for service and they want to ensure they do not sign someone up that they feel is a risk not to pay.
